In the advent of AI art software, I use a range of tools depending on what art Im doing.
I like to sketch traditionally and finish digitally.
The tools are just there to aid me but the mind is the real worker.

Anything goes really, the skill is not in the tools, it´s in your head.

I enjoy painting best with simple brushes and a simple workflow with few layers.

My tools reflect this mindset and are very basic. Pens and lead holders, a stack of sketching paper or whatever paper.

For geometric designs I use a Staedtler compass with metal penholder, two pairs of extra compasses in metal, Rotring 600 lead holder, mechanical pencils, peneraser, regular eraser, rulers and Tamiya board to protect the table and give the compass better grip.

I only draft final patterns using the compass etc when I intend it to be a neater sketch, as it is very timeconsuming. I like to freehand patterns and finish them later when Im happy with the design idea.

In short... Im very Old skool when it comes to tools LOL
